What a custom hat costs

A custom hat is $30. That is a genuine Richardson 112 or another real blank, not a lookalike, with your design on it.

Pick any design from our library and the hat is still $30. The design is included. We choose how it is made, and there is nothing further to decide.

Send us your artwork or your own words, engraved on a standard patch shape, and the hat is still $30. No upcharge for bringing your own design.

A full-color patch of your own design is +$10, so the hat is $40.

Printed directly on the cap with no patch is +$25, so the hat is $55.

A standard patch shape is included. A contour cut, where the patch is cut along the general perimeter of your design, is +$6. A complex or letter cut, where the cut follows your text or fine detail directly, is +$20.

These are available on a full-color patch. They are not available on an engraved one.

On a full-color patch you can add 3D Feel for +$7, 3D Feel Plus for +$10, or SolidCore Embroidery™ for +$20. SolidCore is dimensional and tactile — it looks and feels like stitched work, and holds color and fine detail that thread cannot.

An engraved hat ends at the cut tiers above. If you want an engraved piece finished with SolidCore stitching, that is a combination we make to order and quote by hand rather than something you configure here — email info@laserfocusedxpressions.com and we will price it.

A flag side patch or rear patch is $10 each, on any hat. Every nation, 200+ flags.

U.S. shipping is free on any order of $30 or more. Every hat is $30 or more, so every hat ships free, and any order with a hat in it ships free. Orders under $30 with no hat — a single flag patch, say — are $8.50. International shipping is calculated at checkout.
