Most decorators build their pricing around setup — screen charges, digitizing fees, plate charges, art fees, minimum quantities. All of that gets billed before the first piece is made, and it has to be spread across your order. On a small or mid-size run, those setup costs can quietly become the largest line on your invoice.

We are built to produce on the spot, in our own shop, which means there is no setup to recover.

• No setup fees. No screen charges, no digitizing fees, no plate charges. You pay for the product and the decoration.
• Design assistance is built in. Our in-house design team works up your artwork and sends you a mockup for approval before anything is produced. You do not need print-ready files to get started — an idea, a sketch, or an old logo is enough.
• No minimums. One piece or a thousand. Volume discounts still apply as your quantity grows, but you are never forced up to a minimum to get a fair price.
• Same standard at every quantity. We run small orders and large orders on the same equipment, to the same quality level. If your order is small or mid-size, that is where the difference shows up most — you get the quality of a high-end shop without paying to cover someone else’s setup.
• SolidCore Embroidery™. All the beauty of high-end embroidery without the negatives — it is resin encapsulated, so it keeps its crisp edges, color, and shape.
• Options most shops cannot match. SolidCore Embroidery™, full-color UV printing, raised dimensional texture you can see and feel, custom engraving, engraved patches, and patchless designs applied directly to the product.
• We can mix technologies on the same piece. SolidCore Embroidery™ next to full-color UV printing, engraving combined with raised texture, a patch on one panel and a patchless print on another. Most shops can offer you one method and ask you to design around it. We combine them, so the artwork drives the decoration instead of the other way around.
• If you can imagine it, ask. Between our equipment and our design team, very little is off the table. Bring us the idea and we will tell you the best way to make it.
• Turnaround that matches the way we work. Most custom orders are complete in 1–2 weeks, and in-stock hats in 1–3 days. Tell us your deadline and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
• We can bring the shop to you. Through The Hat Factory Xpress®, our pop-up hat bar sets up at your event and guests watch their hat get personalized on the spot.
