What is a side patch?

A side patch is a smaller patch designed to be placed on the side or rear of the hat โ€” sized to fit the band on the side panel, or to sit centered over the opening in the back.

Can I put a side patch and a rear patch on the same hat?

It goes on with your main patch, pressed at the same time. The setup that reads best is one side and one rear โ€” two different shapes rather than the same patch twice.

What is a rear patch?

The rear patch is a thin curved band โ€” 2.5โ€ณ wide, half an inch tall โ€” arced to match the closure opening on the back of the cap so it sits over the gap instead of fighting it. $10, same as a side patch. Click one to add it.
