Measure once
How to measure your dog
Use a soft tape measure. No tape? Wrap a piece of string, mark it, and lay it on a ruler.
Neck (collars, leashes and sets, bandanas). Measure around the neck where the collar sits. Keep it snug, with room for two fingers underneath. That's your neck size.
Head + neck (hats). Measure across the top of the head from the base of one ear to the other, then measure the neck.
Chest (shirts). Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Between sizes? Size up.
