Cincinnati has closed out the summer with fireworks over the Ohio River for half a century, and the fiftieth is the biggest the city has ever put up. A second barge west of the bridge doubles the launches off the water, rooftops around the basin fire back so the show surrounds you instead of sitting in front of you, and for the first time in forty years the shells include imports from Japan. Sunday, September 6.
