For two years the Cleveland lakefront had a gap in it. This week the gap closed: a 2.7-mile paved path along North Marginal Road now links downtown at East 9th to the East 55th Street Marina at Gordon Park, and for the first time you can walk or ride from downtown out to the East Side parks without stopping.
That is the sort of thing a city waits a long time for, and the sort of thing worth wearing. The patch is the bike, and nothing else — cut to the frame, no border, no lettering.
