Tonight the moon slides into Earth's shadow for a deep, 96% partial lunar eclipse — close enough to total that the whole disc glows a dull blood red. Seen from the Seattle waterfront it rises straight up out of the skyline, a genuinely rare sky event over a city that spends most of the year under cloud. The kind of night worth marking with more than a photo.
The design: a slender tower silhouette rising into a deep red eclipsed moon, ringed with stitched stars on a navy night sky, finished with a rolled merrowed border.
