Yes, we're Ohio's best premium hat bar, and yes, we love it here on Lake Erie, just west of Cleveland, where we're based. AND YES, I must admit it: we've got to give it to Pennsylvania on their new license plate.
They released an America 250 license plate in June, and I had no idea... until I saw it on MY OWN WEBSITE, on our awesome License Plate Picker (where you can make your own license plate to put on your hat... very cool).
I saw it and first thought it was an error. But yep, after a Google search... it was real. It's a beautiful plate that immediately made me think of 1776. Effective imagery. I'm kind of jealous it's on a Pennsylvania plate and not Ohio's. Honestly, it looks like it belongs on a horse in the Revolution. So we put it on one. (Note the hat. He's from Ohio.)
By the way, I'm originally from New Jersey, and when I see PA plates I think, uh oh... slow driver going his own favorite speed in the fast lane. At least with this plate, I'd see something kind of cool until I pass him dangerously on the RIGHT, where they make us PASS!!
What is Pennsylvania's new license plate?
Pennsylvania released it on June 17, 2025, ahead of America's 250th: the Liberty Bell in the center, PENNSYLVANIA in red across the top, and "Let Freedom Ring" along the bottom. It celebrates Pennsylvania as the birthplace of American democracy.
Can I put my own text on it?
Yes, on a hat. Open our License Plate Picker, pick Pennsylvania, choose the Pennsylvania plate, and type your own plate, up to 8 characters. Your name, your town, your year, your inside joke. You see it on the hat as you type.

Want something older-school? The same picker has Pennsylvania in vintage gold, vintage black and vintage navy too.
How much is it?
$30 for your plate on the hat you pick. Every hat is made for you in our studio in Avon Lake, Ohio. (Yes, Ohio.)
So yes, an Ohio shop is making Pennsylvania plates. Keep it between us. 🤫
